Grater is what happens when a wannabe chef and die hard foodie (girl) meets an creative and ambitious, also food obsessed boy.

It all started as a uni-project concept nearly 2 years ago, aiming to make great food accessible for people our age. Since then, a lot of things have changed, and with it, Grater, and all it hopes to achieve, has grown a heck of a lot.

One of us is now based in London, the other residing in Lancashire. Clearly the food scenes here are super different, which puts us in a very cool position; navigating the abundance of spots in the big smoke -some incredible, some not so much-, along side shining a light and seeking out the insane innovation and independent stuff currently taking off up north.

We don’t claim to know everything about food and never will, but we bloody love to eat well and simply hope to give incredible things a platform to shine.
